Blue Sky is Optometry Victoria South Australia's (OV/SA) premier CPD event for 2024 at The Adelaide Convention Centre

Held in Adelaide since 2006, Blue Sky is the premier professional development event for optometrists this calendar year.

OV/SA have designed a program which will appeal to all our delegates. We have a great line up of speakers who will provide delegates with interesting and challenging content to help them in their practice.

Blue Sky is a biennial event that has a single stream program held over two days. Blue Sky is known for its excellence in education delivery, with a well-known dose of light-heartedness giving our delegates the opportunity to refresh, re-focus, and connect with colleagues and trade exhibitors in a fun learning environment.

For the first time, Blue Sky will host a grand rounds session to showcase interesting cases from colleagues. Presentations will be chosen from the submitted abstracts, based on the quality of clinical findings, management and discussion. We are inviting attendees to express their interest in presenting an interesting case they have seen in practice. Each case presentation will be 10 minutes plus time for questions. To express your interest, please send a 200-word abstract of your case to Christina Ly at c.ly@optometry.org.au with the subject line ‘Blue Sky abstract’. Submissions close 15 July.
